New Era Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy is owned by Dr. Anthony Okeke, PT, DPT, MS, OCS, CPeD. He has been practicing Physical Therapy for 37 years. Out of those 37 years, 12 were spent in orthopedic hospitals and the remaining 25 were spent treating orthopedic outpatients.
He graduated in 1980 with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. In 2001, he got his Master’s degree from Seton Hall University with specialization in Physical Therapy and Biomechanics. In 2005, he was able to get his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
In 2007, Dr. Anthony became board certified in orthopedic physical therapy by APTA. In 2009, he subsequently became board certified in Pedorthics. He has also personally conducted Biomechanical research in a human performance lab.
Currently, he is our Clinical Director. He handles and assesses the condition of every patient who comes to us for our services. You can expect hands-on and expert therapy under our doctor.
